It's fascinating that Google is not capable of making an usable social network. They made the best search engine, a decent email service, calendar, on-line documents and even video editor and much more all the way to Google Wave. Yesterday morning a new video from Gorillaz' Plastic Beach album showed up on their YouTube channel. I liked it, as I like all their videos, so I did a natural thing: shared it on social networks. 

That afternoon, I mentioned it to a friend, but she couldn't see the video. In the meanwhile, video was forbidden for viewing in certain countries, Serbia included. There is obviously somebody with great talent for marketing there.

Yesterday I was talking about sending my picture in the space with NASA's STS-133 expedition. Thousands of us uploaded the photographs which will be taken on the next two flights to the International Space Station. Not sure why we did that, probably just because we can. And because we can't actually go up there. So he photograph is the next best thing. Or something like that.
